Snatch a quote from a student and put it here!
Allendale is about a forty-five minute drive outside of Andisville, but most students who go there often feel that the trip was well worth the extra time and gas spent. Aside from Allendale’s two story mall (called Allendale’s Place), the large AMC, and the various shops, strip malls, and food places that Allendale has to offer, there is also a large amusement and water about ten minutes outside of Allendale. Called Gooey Goober’s Great Gigantic Thrills, the amusement and water park’s long and silly name is often shortened to Goober’s Thrills or just Goober’s. There are plenty of water slides, rollercoasters, win-a-prize games, and greasy food stands to make the experience ‘authentic,’ as well as a wave pool, plenty of spinny rides, and holiday specific events (such as a Scare Me Festival during October). The amusement park is open from May 1st to November 1st (although the amusement park is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after August 25th), and the water park is open from May 25th to August 25th.

Aside from the Goober’s Thrills, Allendale is home to quite a few haunted houses, haunted hayrides, and haunted mazes during October. There are plenty of other celebrations for the other holidays--their decorations for Christmas, which the town starts putting up in early November, and their fireworks display on January 1st, July 4th, etc, for example--but for a lot of the Lucian Academy students, Allendale’s appeal exists only in Goober’s Thrills and the ‘scary places’ that go up in early October.
Lucian Academy is a RPG (role play game) created for the amusement of its players. Nothing found here is to be taken seriously. Website coded by Karen.
