Congratulations on being accepted to Lucian Academy!  After we reviewed your academic record, we decided that you would make an excellent addition to our school!  Please make arrangements with your current school to have a final transcript sent at the end of the year with your current grades, as well as your immunization and health record.

As you will soon discover, Lucian Academy is filled with a variety of different traditions that are somewhat different from the other schools you might have attended or looked at.  From your interviews with one of our various Admissions Officers, you have probably learned about a large majority of them, but we would like to take this opportunity to remind you of them.

Every student who arrives at Lucian Academy is going to bond to an animal -- an animal who specifically chose <i>you</i> out of every other person on the face of the earth.  The first week of school is what we call Orientation Week, and is basically a more in-depth introduction of our school and allows you to meet and get to know the animal that you are going to bond with.  At the end of the week is the Bonding Ceremony, in which you will finally join the ranks of bonded students at the school.  During the ceremony, the animal's magic will become a part of you, gifting you with powers that you will learn how to use during your stay with us at Lucian.

Remember that move-in days to the dorms are on August 4 and 5!  A package entailing your financial aid will shortly follow this letter, as well as a letter from Housing informing you of your housing assignments.
