Because Lucian Academy is a smaller school, the housing options are somewhat limited: there are two on campus buildings that serve as gender-specific dormitories, and that’s about it. Lucian Academy’s administration does insist that every student attending the school live on campus (they feel it isn’t worth the potential for disaster that would accompany any high school age student living alone), but they have done their best to make the two buildings as comfortable for their students as possible.

Both dormitories are made up of a total of fifteen suites, one computer lab (open 24/7), a ‘rec room’ area in the basement, a laundry room (also in the basement), and a quiet study room on each floor. The suites are set up in both similar and different ways, as each suite has different furniture, artwork, etc, but they are all set up around a mutual living room area, kitchen, and a shared bathroom. Housecleaning will come in and clean the kitchen, bathroom, and dust/vacuum the living room area, although they are not expected to do the students’ dishes or clean up the clutter in the living room area; they take care of things such as recycling, garbage, and the heavy duty cleaning, but students are expected to keep their living space livable and decent.

Quiet hours in both of the halls start at 10:30pm on weekdays and 12:30am on weekends, although the quiet suites in each hall do have different quiet hours that residents and visitors of the suite alike are expected to respect. Males are allowed to visit the JB Hall and females are allowed to visit the MS Hall, but visitation hours end at 9:00pm for males at the JB Hall and females at the MS Hall (after 9:00pm, any males found in JB Hall or females found in MS Hall are immediately penciled in for a personal visit to the Dean of Discipline’s office) all days of the week.

JASMINE BOYD HALL. Named for Jasmine Boyd, the students, faculty, and staff usually refer to the all-girls’ hall simply as JB Hall--naughtier students have been known to switch the letters around and call it the BJ Hall, although they usually don’t do it in front of the faculty as it could lead to some pretty stiff punishments. Jasmine Boyd was an early attendee and contributor to Lucian Academy who made a huge impact on the animal spirits world with a teddy bear hamster as her animal partner; although an average person’s history wouldn’t recognize her name, the animal spirit world still respects her for being a driving force in pulling the animal spirits together and convincing them to work through the Matchmakers rather than simply forcing their will on unwitting humans.

10	Indigo Suite	The Indigo suite underwent some interesting changes a few years ago thanks to a few artistic students and some free time. 11	Cream Suite	The stereotypical party suite since forever, Cream suite always seems to get the naughty girls who like staying out late, getting drunk, and sleeping with strangers. MAXWELL SWIFT HALL. The Swift family isn’t exactly what people would consider ‘new money people,’ although the family wasn’t always rich and glamorous. Maxwell Swift is actually credited for being the founder of the Swift family fortune (he found his calling in inventing new and improved camera lenses) and the family business, Swift Lenses. He started the trend of making considerable donations to Lucian Academy, and it’s something all of his descendants have continued out of respect for the deceased patriarch. The Maxwell Swift Hall is often called the MS Hall by students, faculty, and staff, and an observant/witty person might recognize that turning the letters around changes the name from MS Hall to SM Hall (which could be considered amusing because of the two letters’ perceived relation to BDSM).

1	Viridian Suite	Viridian suite is the designated quiet suite of the first floor, and the quiet hours are defined as 5:00pm-6:30pm and 8:30pm-12:00pm every single day of the week, including weekends but not including holidays. 6	Ivory Suite	The Ivory suite is MS Hall’s answer to JD Hall’s Cream suite, and it’s the stereotypical party suite where all of the party boys seem to gather and live. 10	Orchid Suite	Decorated with pictures of horses and the open plains, Orchid suite is a place the environmentalists are stereotypically said to live. Honestly, the stereotype came about because of a generous contribution from a school sponsor to the suite itself, whose members decided on giving it a more outdoorsy feel because they were out of any better ideas. 11	Wisteria Suite	Jokingly called the dramatic suite and often called Hysteria suite rather than Wisteria suite, the suite members of Wisteria suite seem to both love and hate each other.
